Alexa Nicholls Costa, NP, is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LexRx, Inject With Lex, and LexLab. Since founding LexRx in 2015, Alexa has grown the practice into a respected multi-location aesthetic brand with five locations across Massachusetts, while remaining fully founder-owned and built without outside investment. She completed a prestigious Emergency Medicine Fellowship through Brown University’s EMPED program and later practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she also gained clinical and research experience within the hospital’s Division of Plastic Surgery.In addition to leading LexRx, Alexa is a recognized Key Opinion Leader and educator in the aesthetic industry. She serves as a Founding Faculty member for Evolus Academy and as faculty for Galderma’s GAIN Business program. Through Inject With Lex, she has helped expand aesthetic injectables education to leading academic institutions including Boston College, Columbia University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alexa holds degrees from Boston University and Regis College, where she received the Master of Nursing Excellence Award. Through her work as a clinician, educator, and entrepreneur, she continues to help advance clinical standards in aesthetic medicine while shaping the next generation of aesthetic providers.
